Founded in 1968, this firm of architects with its headquarters in New York offers services in architecture, town planning, interior decoration, and the design of objects. In the course of its 32 years in professional practice, the company has developed more than three hundred projects in different parts of the world. Among these are projects of a corporate, educational, cultural, governmental, and private character. The more than 80 people that comprise the group have earned an international reputation with some 100 design awards, a continuous renown in both the general and the specialized press, and inclusion of their works in numerous exhibitions.

After the Spanish Civil War he moved to the United States and opened Town Planning Associates with Paul Lester Wiener and Paul Schulz. He taught at many universities, including Harvard, where he served as dean of the School of Design. Before his death in 1983 he returned to his native Spain.

He studied in Milan and Bologna. He undertook few commissions and those which were completed were either later demolished or transformed. His imaginative drawings for future cities were displayed in 1914.

Mario Botta (*1943, Switzerland) trained as a technical draftsman and was an assistant to Le Corbusier and later Louis Kahn. He has attempted to reconcile traditional architectural symbolism with the aesthetic rules of the Modern Movement.
Botta gained international acclaim for such buildings as the Capuchin convent in Lugano. In the 1980's, he designed the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.
