What to do with the space? This unique meeting of traditional viniculture, ancient building technology and contemporary architecture and scholarship was the answer.

When the sun goes down, Spain’s culinary culture comes alive; the Catalans like to enjoy their meals late into the night, to the surprise of many foreigners who are not accustomed to eating dinner as late as 11 p.m. or even midnight. But they quickly become accustomed to this very relaxed way of life, having learned to enjoy a siesta in the afternoon when all the shops are closed.
