Charles Garnier
Dostępność: na zamówienie Charles Garnier (Paris 1825-1898). The eclectism of this French architect enables him to be placed within the Second Imperial style. His works can be considered as archetypal examples of Neo-classical Renaissance and baroque architecture. His greatest undertaking was the Opera House in Paris (1861-1875), highly relevant for the subsequent development of architecture in the nineteenth century. The overall effect is harmonious but different styles and decorations are combined together through sculptures, frescos and marble.

RICHARD HOLZER
DOSTĘPNOŚĆ: NA ZAMÓWIENIE This new monograph presents the architecture of Richard Holzer, whose long and productive career has shaped the urban fabric of Panama. He is the architect behind many Panamanian landmarks including the Avesa Building, the Continental Hotel, the Credicorp Bank building, and, more recently, the Torres de las Americas (Tower of the Americas). Tracing his career from the 1950s to the present, the book presents more than 45 projects in detail and more than 80 projects in brief. That these projects are but a sample of his work indicates the extraordinarily prolific output of a master architect.
