Prototypes: The Work of...
Dostępność: na zamówienie In the past few decades, Cepezed has gained renown with transparent, sustainable and technologically progressive architecture that is remarkably usable and humane. Unaffected design, sober but stylish materialisation, and careful finishing are just as characteristic of Cepezeds work as the integration of spatial and construction-technical aspects. The design and building processes at Cepezed are also integrated: the use of prefab components and the application of industrial building methods guarantee an optimum alignment of design and realisation, in which time, quality, and costs are meticulously planned and controlled.
Charles Garnier
Dostępność: na zamówienie Charles Garnier (Paris 1825-1898). The eclectism of this French architect enables him to be placed within the Second Imperial style. His works can be considered as archetypal examples of Neo-classical Renaissance and baroque architecture. His greatest undertaking was the Opera House in Paris (1861-1875), highly relevant for the subsequent development of architecture in the nineteenth century. The overall effect is harmonious but different styles and decorations are combined together through sculptures, frescos and marble.
