Owning your own swimming pool is a dream that is coming for true for more and more people. So, for the first time in this series of lifestyle books, we are devoting a volume to swimming pools and everything related to the subject: pool houses, bathing spaces, saunas and hammams, and also garden designs, materials used for cladding the pool, terraces, furniture and so on. This book is divided into three chapters. The first section concentrates on outdoor swimming pools and pool houses.

It contains 27 case studies of houses, but in addition to the well-executed plans each project features a striking mix of architects' drawings and sketches, often with computer models in addition. Scandinavian Modern was the most influential and enduring design movement of the twentieth century, dominating the international scene in the 1950s and continuing to shape the way we live today.
