ROOMS FOR KIDS
Our work habits are changing. More and more people, especially liberal professionals and those who have creative occupations, choose to work away from the crammed and impersonal offices of their companies. The alternative, the office at home, has slowly become the favored solution for those who cannot practice their profession within rigid hierarchical structures or for those who do not depend on a strictly centralised flow of information. The consolidation of the internet and new technologies has made it possible to turn something that was a dream only a few years ago into a normal routine for millions of people around the world.

NEW YORK INTERIORS
Dostępność:na zamowienie It's a classic thing we've all heard: "New York is great to visit, but I wouldn`t want to live there." New Yorkers laugh it off because they know the secret: it's even better when you live there. The Hell's Angel who sleeps next to a coffin, the painter who makes art from trash, the woman who's brought Provence to Downtown, the couple who live in the Brooklyn of the 19th century— "typical" New Yorkers` homes are presented alongside those of its glitterati (such as Leo Castelli, Wolfgang Joop, Isabella Rossellini and Steven Spielberg).
LIVING IN ARGENTINA
Argentina considers itself the most European of South American countries, and with good reason. The Argentineans have a strong connection to the old world; their achievements in design, filmmaking, literature, music, and art place them firmly in today's global culture spotlight. When it comes to decorating, they have a great talent for bringing together the old and the new, with subtle touches of color and rich textiles, and incorporating the country's beautiful landscapes in their architectural palette.
LIVING IN BALI
In a world without walls: balinese homes in harmony with nature Loved by travelers for its lush, tropical scenery, and charming people, Bali is considered to be one of the most magnificent places on earth. When it comes to Balinese houses, walls are not compulsory, wood is everywhere, earth tones are dominant, and thatched roofs abound.
LIVING IN SMALL SPACES
Is a large canvas really necessary to paint a masterpiece? The obvious answer would be that the size of the canvas and the brilliance of an artwork bear no mutual relation. This book demonstrates just this point in the world of creative interior design. The continuous downsizing of urban apartments has led to a search for new design solutions to make a virtue out of limited available space. The final result is a philosophy of life based on the small, flexible and adaptable. This book presents 56 apartments with considerable size constraints and shows the inventive living spaces that can result.
