This collection of interiors provides a rich resource for anyone contemplating the restoration - or simply the revitalizing - of a rural home. From a converted Provencal barn to a classic eighteenth-century English country house, and from a Scottish castle to a simple summer retreat in a Spanish fishing village, these interiors offer the jaded city dweller or confirmed countryside lover a wealth of delightful detail from which to draw inspiration. Combining relaxed comfort with style and the sympathetic use of traditional finishes and materials, these homes are overflowing with charm and character.
