Sir Norman Foster's architectural projects have transformed cityscapes, renewed vital transportation hubs and rejuvenated town centres. Ambitious and controversial, Foster succeeds in marrying a modern sensibility with a masterly treatment of the architecture of the past. His commissions include the reconstruction of the Reichstag in Berlin and the new Hong Kong international airport. This work showcases, with photographs and sketches, plans and models, Foster's far-reaching genius, which combines technological prowess and global-minded design philosophy.

Kocher was exhibited in 1932 by Henry-Russell Hitchcock and Philip Johnson in the legendary show in the Museum of Modern Art in New York “The International Style: Architecture since 1922” as one of the very few American examples of the movement.
