JA 46 hiroshi naito
Dostępność: na zamówienie "JA46" is a special edition devoted to architect Hiroshi Naito. The works gathered here, ranging from his early buildings to projects now in progress, are selected from a period of some twenty years. Throughout this span of time, Naito’s design stance has been constant and characterized by a breadth of vision encompassing dimensions from "1/1" to "1/2,000". "1/1" means the design issues studied in the building at scale: its components and detailing. "1/2,000" means the building’s environmental context and landscape.

Dostępność: na zamówienie A surprising trend can be discerned in museum building since the end of the 1990s, one that still seems to be going strong today: an unprecedented number of grand-scale projects have been undertaken in recent years, ont only by private sponsors, but in many cases made possible instead by public funding.
ROOF DESIGN
Since streets become increasingly crowded, living on the top of a buildingpromises privacy and distance. Rooftops have become the symbol of a newlifestyle - an extension and exclusive enjoyment of an area traditionallyunused: the architectural crown of a building has been transformed into anew area for work or living. Architects, designers and town planners haveseen in this final section of a building their last chance to let theirfantasies run free and to dramatically shape the cities' skylines withextensions, attics and unique tops.
