It stops at Gorlitz, Dresden-Hellerau, Leipzig and Chemnitz along the way, discussing the history of the architecture and the process of their development. Many of the great modernist architects are gathered together here, from Hans Poelzig and Henry van de Velde to Heinrich Tessenow, Richard Riemerschmid, Hans Scharoun, Erich Mendelsohn and even Walter Gropius.
