Roman Feliński (1886-1953) stworzył blisko 30 planów miast (m.in. Gdyni, dzielnic Warszawy) i zaprojektował ponad 100 modernistycznych budynków we Lwowie, Warszawie i na Dolnym Śląsku. Był najzdolniejszym architektem działającym we Lwowie w okresie boomu budowlanego (1909-1914) i przysłużył się rozbudowie Warszawy i innych miast (1918-1926) oraz odbudowie Dolnego Śląska (1945-1951). Napisał ponad100 artykułów naukowych i popularnonaukowych o modernistycznej architekturze i urbanistyce oraz stworzył nowoczesną polską teorię urbanistyczna.
