Monografia architektoniczna Czesława Przybylskiego została poświęcona jego działalności w Łodzi w latach 1922–1927. Architekt warszawski, znany specjalista w budowie teatrów, został zaangażowany w monumentalny projekt budowy Teatru Miejskiego (od 1922 r.) oraz Gmachu Reprezentacyjnego w Łodzi (w 1927 r.).
