Zaprezentowany w książce wybór fotografii przemysłowych Tadeusza Sumińskiego (1924-2009), znanego fotografa krajobrazu, jest niewielkim fragmentem zbioru pochodzącego z początku lat 60., powstałego w ramach pracy Sumińskiego jako etatowego fotografa w „La Revue Polonaise”, francuskojęzycznej wersji miesięcznika „Polska” skierowanej do krajów azjatyckich i afrykańskich.
