Katalog z wystawy w Muzeum Architektury we Wrocławiu pod tym samym tytułem. Ze wstępu: "Dorobek artystyczny jakim jest architektura sakralna XX wieku w Polsce praktycznie nie był dotąd podsumowywany. Jan Zachwatowicz (Architektura polska, Waszawa .1966) uznał dla lat międzywojennych za ważne jedynie, nigdy nie zrealizowane, dwa projekty konkursowe, zaś dla późniejszego okresu powojennego dwa wzniesione obiekty (w Warszawie i w Tarnowie), nie szukając dla nich wszystkich jakiejś wspólnej nici. Tadeusz Barucki (Architektura Polski, Warszawa 1985) dla okresu międzywojennego również tylko wspomina o konkursie na kościół Opatrzności Bożej w Warszawie, a dla okresu powojennego wymienia 24 świątynie.
