Założeniem cyklu wydarzeń Architektura XXI wieku jest umieszczenie przyszłości architektury w szerszym planie społecznym. Słowo architektura oznacza przecież nie tylko formę przestrzeni ukształtowaną przez budynki, ale także – w szerszym rozumieniu – staje się synonimem struktury i porządku.
