NASZE WŁASNE POLSKIE. Mit...
NASZE WŁASNE POLSKIE. Mit renesansu lubelskiego w polskiej historii sztuki autorstwa Blaschke Kinga opisuje początki zainteresowań XVII-wieczną architekturą Lublina i północno-wschodniej Małopolski wypadają na okres niewoli narodowej.
Wówczas, intensywnie poszukując symboli narodowych, sięgano do historii i kulturowego dziedzictwa i wkrótce zbudowano mit renesansu lubelskiego jako sztuki rdzennie polskiej, wyrosłej z miejscowej tradycji, powstałej niezależnie od architektury niemieckiej czy włoskiej. W latach międzywojennych badania nad architekturą powstałą w czasach największej potęgi Rzeczypospolitej stały się elementem legitymizacji odrodzonej Polski. Jednak, paradoksalnie, największy rozkwit badań nad renesansem lubelskim przypadł na lata 50. XX wieku.
