Wraz z przyjęciem rozwiązań prawnych Unii Europejskiej z aktualnego katalogu norm została wycofana norma PN-79/D-01011: Drewno okrągłe - Wady. Nadal jest jednak ona powszechnie stosowana w Polsce.
